  • PowerPoint Packs: If running from a Mac or PC laptop, up to date operating software running the latest version of Microsoft PowerPoint is recommended.
    We recommend not running PowerPoint packs from Google Slides or Keynote, as these platforms do not support some of the key interactive features.

    *There have been known issues with earlier versions of Windows (prior to Windows 10) not having the required codecs to run MP4 audio and video. You will find a safe download in the link below to install the necessary codecs.

    Printable Packs: The print packs are the more traditional format of pub trivia. Just print out your question & answer sheets and you're good to go. MP3 audio files are included, so an audio source is required to play these files.

    1. Make sure you download your ZIP file to a desktop PC or laptop. Don't download to your phone or tablet.

    2. Always extract the ZIP file before attempting to open content. Right-click on the ZIP file, select 'Extract All...', then click 'Extract'.

    3. Make sure you are running the latest version of Microsoft Office/PowerPoint.

    4. Due to the nature of the glorious internet, sometimes files can become corrupted during the download process. If this occurs, send Ben an email at info@trivialicious.com.au along with your order/pack number and he'll set up a Dropbox folder for you. :)

  • If the fonts look odd in your PowerPoint pack, you most likely don't have Franklin Gothic fonts installed. This font has been chosen as it is commonly pre-installed on most devices. If it's missing, you'll find them in your download in the folder 'Franklin Gothic Fonts'. Just double-click on the files & install.

  • We highly recommended using the newest, full version of Microsoft Office 365 PowerPoint as Trivialicious big screen packs utilise specific features within the app. It's easily available via Microsoft on a $11 AUD per month subscription, which can be cancelled at anytime.

    You don't need PowerPoint for the print-only packs. Just print out or read from your laptop/tablet.

  • Each PowerPoint pack comes with in Excel sheet that is integrated with PowerPoint, providing a real-time team leader board that calculates scores for you & shows them up on screen.

    When first opening your PowerPoint file, the Excel file will need to be linked. Follow this short tutorial to get the show on the road.

  • Yes! Head to the storeto purchase bulk trivia questions. Questions and answers are provided in Microsoft Excel format via immediate secure download. These packs are just raw questions & answers; they do not contain audio, visual or printable materials.

    The Excel file is constantly updated. After purchase, you'll receive an email each time the file is updated. You pay once, and receive all updates as they are applied. :)

  • Fresh content reminders are sent out every Monday morning at 9am. Be sure to check your spam folder and mark Trivialicious as "not spam".     We recommend downloading your big screen pack to your PC/Mac/Laptop.

    After purchasing, follow the instructions and download your ZIP file from the supplied link.

    Locate the zipped folder that you want to unzip (extract) files or folders from.

    Do one of the following:

    1. To unzip a single file or folder, open the zipped folder, then drag the file or folder from the zipped folder to a new location.

    2. To unzip all the contents of the zipped folder, press and hold (or right-click) the folder, select Extract All, and then follow the instructions.

    (MAC)

    Double-click the zip file and the file or folder will be decompressed into the same folder the compressed file is in.

  • For the smoothest possible experience, it's recommended to run the presentation from a laptop running the latest version of Microsoft WIndows.

    Mac OS also supported (Make sure you use PowerPoint & not Keynote).

  • You will need access to a big screen to use the Trivialicious Packs; This could be either in-house TVs or a Projector. You will also need an output for sound; HDMI cables support both video and sound for most Big Screen TVs. If using a projector, it's quite easy to run an audio cable from your laptop to an external sound system. A microphone is also recommended, otherwise you'll need to scream at your teams! ;)

  • No way! As long as you're confident talking in front of people, you'll have no worries at all. The Trivialicious Instructables manual will walk you through a few hints and tips in organising and hosting. Just follow the instructions on your PowerPoint show and you'll be home and hosed!

  • Absolutely! All the packs are designed with the solo host in mind; it's easier than you think!
